To Resource Commander, equipment is simply another type of resource. The system was developed specifically to track resources for which costs are distributed at a detailed level. For this reason,the equipment being tracked is often high-value resources. Examples include mobile heavy equipment, semi-stationary machinery or fabrication machines. Any equipment for which costing is a concern can be tracked, regardless of size and mobility.
